F. Scott Industries has developed and implemented an on-going safety and health program for its employees involved in all environmental projects. Our program is designed to identify, evaluate and control safety and health hazards and provide emergency response for all operations.
Employee training programs have been developed and implemented to inform F. Scott Industries employees about hazards and risks in the work environment. All on-site managers, supervisors and employees have received the required OSHA/EPA training. The training includes safety and health hazards present on the job, use and care of personal protective equipment and safe work practices designed to minimize risk. Also included are the safe use of equipment and tools, monitoring of the environment, decontamination procedures, medical surveillance requirements, contingency plans, electrical hazards and confined space requirements.
All employee training and medical evaluations are documented and kept on file. Our training, medical surveillance and monitoring programs confirm to all regulatory requirements and our own safety factor is built on to the state and federal standards. Our own safety operating procedures assure our employees of a healthy working environment and provides for adequate medical care in the event of an accident. First Aid and CPR trained personnel are available on each jobsite and emergency plans have been carefully established and implemented.
It is our commitment to safety that makes us strive for an accident-free work environment.
